- Is Breakfast Complimentary?
The rates quoted for the Double-Bed rooms include breakfast. However, for those opting for the Dorm or Service Apartments, please note, breakfast is not complimentary. In the latter case, breakfast will be served on prior order at an extra charge.
We serve breakfast everyday between 7:30am to 10:00am.
Is Goods and Services Tax (GST) chargeable?
GST has been included in the quoted rates and no extra charges are applicable.
- How far is the property for Police Bazaar?
Travellers Bed and Breakfast is located in Polo which is 1.5kms walking distance from Police Bazaar, the central commercial hub of Shillong. By car, the distance is 3 kms since there are a number of one ways in Shillong.
- Is Lunch and/or Dinner provided at the property?
At present we provide Breakfast and Dinner only to guests on order. For dinner, we request guests to order before 7:00 pm. Dinner is chargeable.
- Is car parking available at Travellers Bed and Breakfast?
Yes, car parking is available.
- Does Travellers Bed and Breakfast arrange vehicles for sightseeing?
We are in contact with a wide range of Tourist vehicle owners. However, we do not directly arrange vehicles for guests. What we can do is provide contact nos for vehicles once a booking is confirmed with us. In addition we can also provide rental scooter for your convenience at a cost of 700/- RS per day
- What do you serve for Breakfast?
We serve one item per day for Breakfast. Our breakfast includes:
- Aloo Paratha
- Toast Omlette
- Veg Sandwich (Grilled)
- Puri Sabzi
- Roti Sabzi
7. Is Laundry service available?
Guests have access to a washing machine for washing clothes. Use of the washing machine is chargeable. Please check with staff for this service.
- Is Housekeeping service provided?
Yes we do provide Housekeeping service everyday during your stay but only if the guests leave the room keys at the reception.
- What is the Booking procedure?
If you wish to make a booking with us, then you will have to first make an advance payment for booking. Once the advance is received, we can then book your stay on the applicable dates.
- Is AC provided in the rooms?
No. All our rooms including the Service Apartments are Non-AC rooms. Ceiling fans are available in the rooms.
